Does God exist at college?: 5/10 Print E-mail

How can students maintain a biblical faith in the face of the intellectual challenges of the university? How can they preserve their faith when faced with tough questions about creation/evolution, the reliability of the Bible, and the pain and suffering we see around us? Come hear biblical answers to these questions and learn how to respond effectively when confronted with them on campus on Saturday, May 10th, at Amherst Baptist Church from 10am-2pm.

ImageThere will be three lectures:

"God, Man, and Caveman" by Dick DiTullio

Dick DiTullio, a former atheist, is the co-founder of WNY Apologetics, having received extensive training under John Clayton, founder of the Does God Exist? program of South Bend, Indiana. Dick has tested his material against some of the leading Secular Humanists in the world.

"Why would a good God let bad things happen?"
by Dr. James Beebe

You hear this question a lot. Dr. Beebe is a philosophy professor at the University at Buffalo, as well as a member of Amherst Baptist Church. He specializes in epistemology, the philosophical study of knowledge and rationally justified belief.

"Would we trust God's Facebook page?: God's Word and its reliability" by Jim Reeverts

Jim Reeverts is an ordained minister with the Free Methodist Church, as well as the founder of RTB Rochester, a "creation apologetics ministry." He holds an M. Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary and has taught public school science classes for several years.

In addition to the three lectures, here's what else is featured:
